Since merging in 1994, the Madison Heights/Hazel Park Chamber of Commerce has combined its voice to serve as an influential professional resource and advocate for businesses large and small. Today its membership includes more than 300 (and growing) such businesses which benefit from a diverse and contemporary agenda of services and programs. Such programs provide members the advantage of professional networking to build mutually beneficial relationships. Networking events such as "Coffee & Chat", "Lunch Time", "Cocktails & Chat" and the newly added Business After 5 (BA5) - a collaborative Event between multiple Chambers - provide a forum for sharing ideas and promoting products and services and FUN.

Additionally, there is an Ambassadors Program which consist of select group of Professionals from the General Membership who act as the "Welcoming Hand" of the Chamber; greeting New Members, promoting Chamber Events, Programs, Projects and bridging the gap between the General Membership and the Board of Directors.

Other valuable options open to the Membership are Educational Seminars and Workshops offered throughout the year and FREE Export Certificates. Special Membership Benefit driven Programs offered as a collaborative venture with The Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce through Office Depot, Verizon Business and Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Michigan further enhances the value of Membership!

A "Member to Member" discount program assist in boosting the Membership's bottom line by offering savings on a broad spectrum of products and services offered by fellow Chamber Members.

It's not all work! The Chamber also Sponsors and Host special "Fun Events" throughout the year along with Opening Night at the Hazel Park Race Track, the Annual Golf Outing and Annual Themed Fall Auction and Dinner. A portion of the funds raised from such Events go toward assisting in the Teacher Mini Grant Program and other Community Programs in need of support.

Working closely with both the Cities of Madison Heights, Hazel Park, their School Districts, their Downtown District Authorities (DDAs), various Civic and Private Groups and Churches the Madison Heights/Hazel Park Chamber of Commerce continues its mission of encouraging and sustaining a vibrant marketplace, fostering business growth and strengthening community well-being in 2010 and beyond.
